SAFETY

A Culture of Vigilance: Safety as a Standard
Our safety program is anchored by a rigorous framework of field-tested values designed to ensure the absolute well-being of our workforce. At our firm, safety is not merely a policy; it is a mandate. Every employee is empowered with the authority and resources to identify and remediate hazards immediately, ensuring that operational efficiency never comes at the cost of personal security.
Our dedicated safety leadership maintains an active field presence, collaborating directly with construction managers, line supervisors, and foremen. This continuous engagement ensures our teams possess the specialized knowledge and advanced tools required to uphold the industry’s highest safety benchmarks.
The Headway Safety Program
The Headway Program is our proprietary roadmap for risk mitigation. Through a sophisticated multi-step strategy and intensive technical training, we equip our personnel to recognize and deploy instinctive safety techniques. This comprehensive approach ensures that our greatest asset—our people—return home safely every day.
Our Safety Vision
We cultivate an instinctually safe culture that provides uncompromising protection for our employees, our clients, and the communities we serve.
To maintain a best-in-class safety record, we require a universal commitment to our Foundational Safeguards. These standards are engineered to mitigate the primary causes of workplace injury and serve as the bedrock of our operational philosophy. We believe that excellence in infrastructure is inseparable from excellence in safety.
Critical Safety Protocols
Job Task Safety Assessment (JTSA)
Before any project commences, our teams develop a comprehensive Safety Action Plan. This preemptive assessment identifies potential hazards and establishes specific control measures to neutralize risk before work begins.
Job Safety Observation (JSO)
To ensure continuous compliance and field excellence, supervisors and management conduct formal Job Safety Observations. These evaluations are mandated at a minimum of every 45 days, providing a consistent feedback loop and ensuring our high standards are being met in real-time.
